Melissa was a commercial litigator representing large businesses and now focuses on representing small businesses. Her extensive trial skills allow her to prepare strong business documents, thereby reducing the risks of lawsuits for small businesses.
She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was on the Dean’s List, a Writing Dean’s Fellow, an Articles and Comments Editor on the Inter-American Law Review, and intern in the A. Jay Cristol Bankruptcy Clinic. She also graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with minors in History and Criminology.
